The Tally Expert programs help in the loading of the truck, and evaluates the value of the lumber being loaded.

It is a point and click system with save, retrieve and print functions. One trader currently using the single size version has said:
" I've got 3 extend tally programs available to me and this is by far the easiest to learn and use."

There are two version of the program:

  • Multiple-Size allows for multiple sizes to be entered and orders to be specified on the lower half of the screen. The new version 2007 has many enhancments including:

    • Full feature printing
    • E-Mail capability
    • Report customizations - add you company logo and signature.
    • Change the title of the print ***while you are previewing it***
    • Customize how product descriptions look when printed, species/grade/size/tally or size/species/grade/tally or size/grade/species/tally.
    • Set the tab order to control how the cursor moves around the form.
    • Maintain your own species, grades.
    • Share a tally by with another trader using Tally Expert via email.
    • Check for updates feature.
